Two separate statutory authorities allow contracting officers to award directly to Corelon without full and open competition.

Department of Veterans Affairs

Award Threshold

$5M (flat)

The VA is required to set aside or sole source to SDVOSBs before competing requirements. As an SBA-Certified SDVOSB, Corelon qualifies for VA sole source awards up to $5 million — a single ceiling that applies to supplies and services alike, with no separate manufacturing tier and no CPI indexing.

Award Process

  1. CO confirms requirement is under the applicable threshold
  2. CO verifies Corelon on VA's VETBIZ/SBA certification
  3. CO issues sole source solicitation directly to Corelon
  4. Award — no competition required if fair and reasonable price is established

DoD & All Civilian Agencies

Award Threshold

$8.5M (manufacturing NAICS) · $5M (all other)

Under the Small Business Jobs Act and FAR Part 19, contracting officers at DoD and civilian agencies may award sole source contracts to SBA-certified SDVOSBs without full and open competition when requirements fall under the threshold and competition is not practicable.

Award Process

  1. CO determines the requirement is within the applicable threshold
  2. CO verifies Corelon's SBA SDVOSB certification at certify.sba.gov
  3. CO determines only one responsible SDVOSB (Corelon) can fulfill the requirement at a fair market price
  4. CO issues J&A (Justification & Approval) documenting the sole source action
  5. Award issued directly to Corelon

Identify Your Need

Confirm your requirement falls within a Corelon NAICS code. Contact us to verify we can fulfill it.

Verify Certification

Confirm our SDVOSB/VOSB status at certify.sba.gov and our SAM.gov registration using our UEI or CAGE code.

Choose Your Vehicle

Sole source, micro-purchase, simplified acquisition, or open competition — Corelon will recommend the right vehicle.

Issue the Award

Corelon provides pricing, statements of work, and supporting documentation. Documentation and pricing turned in within one business day.

Primary federal acquisition portal. Search for Corelon by UEI, CAGE code, or company name. SAM.gov registration is active and current.
